According to the remuneration package that was unveiled by the Nigerian Senate,the Nigerian president's official salary is N1.4 million Naira.

This amount was conceived by the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) which is a body empowered by the 1999 constitution to determine the remuneration of Nigerian political office holders,the salary paid to the president and his vice president are gotten from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF).

The President’s Allowances Include :-

• Hardship Allowance > 50% of basic salary
• Consistency Allowance > 250% of basic salary
• Severance Gratuity > 300% of basic salary (N10,544,115)
• Leave Allowance > 10% of basic salary (N351,470)
• Motor Vehicle Loan > 400% of basic salary (N14,058,820)
• Furniture & Accommodation Allowance
• Duty Tour Allowances
