The DS-160 application form is a form that must be completed
by every Nigerian who wants to be eligible to apply for a U.S. Visa in Nigeria.

Every Nigerian that is a non US citizen and its dependents must fill and complete the DS-160 Application Form.

Important Facts And Guild lines About The The DS-160 Application Form 
  • As an applicant,before you can be able to schedule an interview with the American embassy you will be required to provide the barcode number on the DS-160 confirmation page.

  • Make sure that you fill all the information required,there is no room for errors. 
  • Submitting your DS-160 online application is the first step in your visa application process.
  • Answer all mandatory questions in your DS-160,if not you won’t be able to submit it.
  • You may answer a question with “Does Not Apply,” when answering a question that does not apply to you.
  • Any error or misinformation can lead to the denial of Visa.

  • All questions must be answered in English language letters only.
  • The interview post selected by the visa applicant at the beginning of the Form DS-160 will be where the applicant scheduled his/her interview appointment.
  • Failure to electronically sign your DS-160 by clicking the “Sign Application” button at the end of the form may result in termination of the application.
  • You can save your application or return to a partially completed application.
  • You must have your application ID to return to your application.
  • You have 30 days to return to a partially completed application.
  • All information is automatically saved when each page is completed, so your application will not be lost. You will need to enter your application ID number and continue the application.
  • The completed DS-160 application form will generate an alpha-numeric barcode confirmation page. 
  • The printed confirmation page is required for the interview at the Embassy/Consulate.
