A. Visit the office of CAC Corporate Affairs Commission and obtain a name reservation form,cost about N200,depending the state.

Fill the form,and submit back to the CAC,also you will be expected to furnish the CAC with other details such as: 
  • The proposed name for the business. 
  • The general nature of the business (business activities) .
  • Address of the business.

  • Passport sized photograph of the owners.

B. A name search usually takes about 2 weeks to determine the availability of the proposed name.
If the name you chose is not available, you will have to reapply for another name.
