Visit any of the commercial banks in Nigeria and get the domiciliary account opening form.

Fill in your personal details and submit it with the following documents:
  • A means of identification such as drivers license, International passport, National ID Etc

  • A copy of your recent utility bill, for example Electricity bill, water bill or telephone bill.
  • 2 current passport photographs.

If you already have a current account with the bank, some steps might be be necessary. 

Also note that you must be running either a savings or current account along with the domiciliary account.

Some commercial banks might require you to have a minimum deposit of $100. 

Within a period of 48-72 hours, you should receive your domiciliary account number and other details via email or text message.

Requirements:
  • Minimum opening deposit of of $100, €100 or £100, you can also withdraw some part of the money.
  • Valid means of Identification: e.g International passport, National ID or Drivers lincence.

  • Two (2) recent passport photographs are required
  • Utility Bill, for verification of address.

Requirements
  • Account Opening form duly completed & signed.
  • Two (2) specimen signature cards duly completed.
  • Two (2) recent clear passport size photographs with your name and signature written on the reverse side.
  • Residence permit for non Nigerians. 
  • A valid form of Identification such as International Passport, Driver’s License or National I.D.
  • A copy of a Public Utility Receipt (not older than 3 months).
  • Initial Deposit.
  • Two References.
  • You must have an active account with the bank operating in not less than 6months.

Within 48-72hours, you will receive an SMS about your domiciliary account details.
