WAEC or NECO with at least 5 credit passes in Mathematics, English and 3 other relevant subjects.

Q: Requirements for getting admission - NOUN post graduate program? 

To get admission into the Post Graduate School for Postgraduate Diploma, the prospective student has to be a graduate of a recognized university or have an upper credit level pass at HND.

In some cases a higher professional qualification may also be considered.

A relevant Postgraduate Diploma from any NUC accredited University with a high degree score. 

Q: Requirements for getting admission - NOUN Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) program?

For Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) prospective students are expected to have obtained a masters degree relevant in their relevant field of study and also have a minimum of 3.50 grade point on a 5-point scale.

To Apply for admission into the National Open University of Nigeria,you have to apply online. 

Follow The Easy Steps Below: 

1. Visit the site www.nouonline.com

2. On the Home Page, go to the Menu Bar, Click on Apply for Admission

3. Select the programme you would want to apply for i.e Undergraduate Programme or Postgraduate Programme. 

4. Goto "Choose Faculty"

5. Select Faculty

6. Select programme of study

7. Select “Level” (Note: Postgraduate level is preset.)

8. Select “View Subject Required” to view compulsory subjects required for admission.

9. Click “Apply” to proceed to payment form.

10. Input details. (Note: Amount is fixed and non refundable.)

11. Select Bank Branch as payment type

12. Click “Pay”

13. Copy and take your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number to any bank branch for payment.

Note:

Visit any of the following banks,First City Monument Bank,Ecobank,Zenith Bank,Skye Bank,UBA,IBTC,WEMA Banks. 

Make sure that you verify the account number before making payment. 

Application for Undergraduate Programmes cost N5,000 (Five thousand naira) only while Postgraduate (PGD and Masters) Programmes costs N7,500.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) Programmes costs N10,000 only.

Obtain a NOUN Teller specially designed for NOUN for the purpose of payment.
Also request for a NOUN teller on arrival at the bank. 

After making payment,collect the Application pin CODE equivalent to the amount paid for your form from the Bank.

14. After making payment Goto “Continue After Payment”

15. Input Applicant Name and RRR number

16. Click “Proceed”

17. Fill the Form,all fields marked with red star are compulsory. After filling the form.

18. Click “Submit”

19. Print Admission Letter

20. Visit the nearest study centre for screening
