A. Visit the office of CAC Corporate Affairs Commission and obtain a name reservation form,cost about N200,depending the state. 

Fill the form,and submit back to the CAC,also you will be expected to furnish the CAC with other details such as: 
  • The proposed name for the business. 
  • The general nature of the business (business activities) .
  • Address of the business.
  • Name,surname,nationality,age Etc
  • Occupation & personal details of business partners.
  • The proposed date of commencement of the business.
  • Passport sized photograph of the owners.
  • Certificates of professional qualification ( In the case of professionals)

B. A name search usually takes about 2 weeks to determine the availability of the proposed name.
If the name you chose is not available, you will have to reapply for another name.
If after the searching process,and the name of your proposed company is available,you will be given the go-ahead order to continue the registration process. 

C. As a partnership business,you will be you required to
provide details of your partner or partners,details such as  photograph,addressphone number Etc as listed above. 

D. A Partnership business is required to have a minimum of two
members and a maximum of twenty members.
