The estimated current salary earned by new entry workers of FIRS (GL 7) is between ₦ 70,000 - ₦ 89,000 per month,then a new entry staff on GL 8 earns ₦ 90,000 - ₦ 105,000 before tax and pension (excluding allowances)*.

The current minimum wage in Nigeria,applicable from 2011 is ₦18,000 per month,exclusive of all deductions.
