Auchi Polytechnic is one of the first four Polytechnics
founded in Nigeria. The Polytechnic is a Federal Polytechnic that is located in Auchi, Edo State,Nigeria.

 The polytechnic has the capacity to admit up to 10,000 students in different departments.
The polytechnic was founded in 1963 and hence is one of the oldest tertiary institution for learning in Nigeria. Auchi Poly's motto is Hands & Brain for Development.

Back in 1963,it was given to the Midwestern Region by the British government as a gift,before it metamorphosed to a polytechnic it was a once a technical college.

 Auchi Poly Degree Programmes

 Auchi Polytechnic also award university degrees through what is called the Auchi Poly Degree Programme.

 The Auchi Poly Degree Programme enables students to bag a degree through Auchi poly's affiliation arrangement with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka which is approved by the National Universities Commission(NUC).

 This degree program is divide into the evening and morning programs.

Auch Poly Screening & Cut Off Mark

 Prospective students that score more than 160 in Jamb will be required to undergo a screening test (post utme),the date for the test will be announced by the polytechnic.

 Candidate's credentials will also be screened on the day of the screening test,credentials to be screened include JAMB scores and SSCE result.

 After the screening exercise an admission list will be release by the school.
Successful candidates will be required to accept the admission offer and present some documents which include:-
  • Statements of Results/Certificates.
  • Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
  • A letter of good conduct from the students Village Head or a civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector.
  • Certificate of Local Government of origin
  • Notification of admission status slip
The candidate might be required to produce more supporting documents.
