News: Rema,Burna Boy And Fireboy DML Bag Nominations At The Biggest French Music Award

Afrobeat is definitely making waves

around the world,Rema,Fireboy and Burna boy might soon update their award shelve with plaques after they received nominations at France’s NRJ Music Awards which is known as the Nouvelle Radio des Jeunes.

The award is the highest award in France and is presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry.

Rema’s debut album,“Rave and Roses“ bagged three nominations from the society, ranging from Best International Collaboration for his Selena Gomez featured “Calm Down Remix”, to International Revelation Artiste as well as International Song of the Year with “Calm Down”.

Grammy Awards winner Burna Boy also 

got nominated under the category of Best International Collaboration.

Fireboy DML secured his own nomination under the category of Best International Collaboration with Peru Remix which featured British singer Ed Sheeran.

The award ceremony will take place on the 18th of November 2022.
