Chinko Ekun started developing interest in music
while he was still in secondary school.
He coined his stage name 'Chinko Ekun' after
one of his friends said he looked like a Chinese man,
he went ahead to add 'Ekun' to his nickname
which was the name of his first official track.
The indigenous rapper that raps mostly in Yoruba language,got a massive boost in his career after he caught the attention of one of Nigeria's top musician named Olamide,who is also the CEO of YBNL.
Olamide went ahead to sign Chinko Ekun to YBNL Nation Record Label.
He didn't disappoint his fans as he put up an
impressive freestyle performance at Olamide Live
in Concert.
He also featured on three tracks on one of Olamide's album titled 'Street OT'.
Chinko Ekun has reportedly left YBNL records.
