Early Life 

9ice grew up in a polygamous home,his father married five wives and had 9 children. His mom is a Christian while he is a muslim. 

The talented musician grew up in Lagos state although he is from Ogbomoso in Oyo State. 

He got his early primary school education at Abule Okuta Primary School and CMS Grammar School. He later went ahead to study law at the Lagos State University but decided to drop out of school due to lack of funds. 

Career 

9ice kicked off his career back in year 2000. He joined a group called the Mysterious Boys before he formed his own defunct group called Abinibi. 

His breakthrough in the Nigerian music industry came when he released the song titled "Gongo Aso".

ID Cabasa produced 9ice's first and second albums but over the years his relationship with him went sour,in an effort to remedy the relationship he titled one of his albums 'ID Cabasa',he also went ahead to give all monetary proceeds from the album to ID Cabasa. 

He contested for the House of Representatives member representing the Ogbomoso North Constituency,Oyo state in 2015 under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but lost at the party primaries.

He was later appointed a special adviser to former Governor of Oyo state,Abiola Ajimobi back in 2015.
